Cleaning/Disinfecting High Touch Surfaces

Apply disinfectant to all high touch areas. This step is critical to allow proper dwell time for the disinfectant to work properly. The definition of dwell time is how long a disinfectant must stay wet on a surface in order to properly achieve it’s kill claims. Dwell time and kill claims can be found on the product label and the SDS.

High touch areas are listed (but not limited to) the areas below:

  • Toilet Seats
  • Urinal Handles
  • Toilet Handles
  • Faucets
  • Partition Latches
  • Dispensers
  • Door Knobs
  • Light Switches
